Pear Portrait #2

5" x 7" Oil on mounted canvas.
$75 - shipping to US included.

Pears are a classic still life subject because they have such a nice interesting shape. This one also had a little red blush on its side. I decided to paint a quarter-sized version at the same time as the larger one. They seem to make a nice pair...

I painted them at the same time from my still life setup.

Hi James, my name is James too. I found your pear interesting because I painted a pear also, with a red blush. You can find it on www.freewebs.com/jgrrityart. If the person who painted the first pear finds us we may be in trouble for copyright infringements.
